Maryland Free State Post 167 is pleased to announce that starting April 2022 we will return to in-person meetings. We will usually meet the third Sunday of the month (9:30am) at the VFW Post # 521 (214 S Tollgate Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117). However, due to holidays, etc. that date may change. Therefore, if you are not on our email list (& would like to be) or have meeting questions, please do not hesitate to contact Post Commander Stanley Fishman.

Why be a member of Jewish War Veteran Post 167 – Owings Mills Maryland?

  1. You get the opportunity to make an impact by being part of something greater than yourself. Post 167 JWV is active in our community as well as the state & national stage, developing and advancing veteran policies and laws that improve services and benefits for service members, veterans, their families and survivors receive.

  2. Post 167 provides an opportunity for you to have a leadership position at the local level and, if interest can lead to state, and national levels. This give our members the opportunity to be actively involved in the veteran advocacy process at all levels.

  3. It’s where your “battle” buddies hang out. At its heart Post 167 is a veteran alumni network. This is the place where those who wore the uniform can come together and enjoy one of the things they enjoyed most about serving – each other’s company.

  4. Post 167 is built around bringing together individuals with a common background in a place where they can share camaraderie and develop relationships.

  5. Social opportunities include regular local meetings, national conventions, annual Hanukkah parties, community service projects, etc.
